Terms of Use

Last updated: October 12, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern Conduit Bending Calculator (“App”), operated by Worth A Try LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the App you agree to these Terms.

1. What the App does

The App is a conduit bending calculator for iPhone and iPad. It works out the marks for offsets, 3- and 4-point saddles, 90° stubs and back-to-backs, kicks, segment bends and compound 90s for the bender you choose, reads bend angles with the device’s motion sensors, shows reference tables, and lets you save bends into named jobs and share a job as text or PDF. Your bends, jobs and bender settings are stored on your device. See our privacy policy for the services the App uses for purchases, analytics and crash reports.

2. Marks are a layout aid: test-bend and check before you install

The App is a planning aid for people who bend conduit. Its marks depend entirely on the measurements, angles, conduit size and bender you enter or choose. Marks on screen are rounded to the fraction precision you choose. Bender take-ups, multipliers, radii and gains come from the manufacturers’ published tables or from your own calibration; the bender in your hand, its wear, the conduit’s make and how hard you step on the foot pedal all change the result.

  • Check marks against a test bend on your own bender before you cut or bend conduit for a job, and calibrate the App’s take-up from a test 90 when the printed figure does not match.
  • Angle readings come from the device’s motion sensors and depend on how the phone rests on the conduit; they are not a substitute for a level or a protractor.
  • Reference figures such as conduit dimensions, minimum bending radii and the 360° rule are drawn from published editions of the National Electrical Code and manufacturers’ data. They may differ by code edition, amendment and jurisdiction; your local code, the authority having jurisdiction and the manufacturer’s instructions govern.
  • Bending conduit involves physical risk. Follow the bender manufacturer’s safety instructions and your employer’s safety rules.

You are responsible for your measurements, your bends, the materials you use and compliance with electrical codes and permits. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Worth A Try LLC is not liable for decisions made using the App, including wasted conduit, rework, failed inspections, property damage or injury.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or 16 in the EU/EEA, to use the App.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

After the short first-run setup, using the App requires Pro access through an auto-renewing weekly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Both unlock the same features.

  • Weekly subscription: the current price is shown in the App before you buy, with no free trial. Prices differ by country under local App Store pricing. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically each week unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Lifetime purchase: a one-time, non-consumable purchase of Pro access in this App. It does not renew. The App may offer lifetime access at a discounted one-time price; its price is shown before purchase. Lifetime access does not promise perpetual compatibility with future devices or operating systems.
  • Manage or cancel a subscription on your iPhone or iPad in Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or in the App through Settings → Your purchase. Restore purchases with Restore purchases on the App’s plans screen, using the same Apple Account.
  • Deleting the App or its data does not cancel a subscription. Refund requests are handled by Apple at Report a Problem.

Purchases and restores need a connection to Apple’s and RevenueCat’s services.

5. Apple’s Standard EULA

The App is licensed to you through the App Store under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Standard EULA”). These Terms add to the Standard EULA. If they conflict, the Standard EULA governs your license to use the App.

6. Your jobs and data

You own what you enter. Your bends, jobs and bender settings stay on your device, so we cannot see or recover them, and deleting the App deletes them. Share or export jobs you want to keep: the App is not a backup service.

7. Availability

Features, tools, bender tables and compatibility may change as the App and iOS evolve. We aim to keep the App accurate and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free results.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The App is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including any warranty that results are accurate or fit for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, or any amount exceeding what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. These Terms do not limit rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms and the date above. Questions: Worth A Try LLC, support@worthatry.co.
