Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Worth A Try Co (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information across the apps and services we operate — including ReminderCall, which places reminder phone calls and, with your consent, sends reminder text messages. It is written in plain English so you know exactly what we do with your data and the control you have over it.

The short version

We collect only what an app needs to work — for ReminderCall, that means your phone number (so we can call or text you) and the reminders you create. We don’t sell your data, we don’t run ads, and we never share or sell your mobile phone number or your SMS consent with third parties for their marketing. Each app also has its own app-specific policy with more detail: see, for example, the ReminderCall privacy policy.

1. What we collect

  • Contact details you provide — for ReminderCall, your phone number (verified by a one-time code) and an optional name, email, and time zone.
  • The content you create — for ReminderCall, the reminders you schedule (title, message, time, repeat schedule) so we can deliver them.
  • SMS consent — whether you have opted in to text messages, and when.
  • Subscription status — whether you have an active subscription (via RevenueCat and Apple). We never see your payment method.
  • Usage & diagnostics — anonymized analytics (Mixpanel, Firebase) and crash reports (Crashlytics) to fix bugs and improve the apps. These do not include your reminder content.

We do not collect your location, contacts, or microphone audio.

2. SMS / text messaging (ReminderCall) — how we handle your mobile data

If you opt in to SMS in the ReminderCall app (an explicit, off-by-default choice), we send you text messages that include: reminder texts and a backup text if a reminder call is missed; account and service notices (for example, that your subscription ended and reminder calls are paused); and occasional offers if you created an account but haven’t subscribed.

  • Message frequency varies based on the reminders you set and your account activity.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • You can reply STOP at any time to opt out of all texts (you’ll get one confirmation and nothing further), or reply HELP, or email hello@worthatry.co, for help. You can also turn SMS off in the app’s Settings or delete your account at any time.

We do not share, sell, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or your SMS/messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The service providers listed in Section 3 receive only the information needed to place your calls and texts on our behalf, never for their own marketing, and your mobile opt-in and consent data is used solely to deliver the messages you signed up for. No mobile information is shared with third parties or lead generators.

3. Service providers we use

We share data only with the providers that make our apps work, and only for that purpose:

We don’t sell your data, we don’t run advertising SDKs, and we don’t share your phone number or reminders with anyone other than the providers above, solely to deliver the service.

4. Retention and deletion

Your account data is stored so scheduled reminders can fire even when your phone is off. You can delete individual reminders in the app at any time. To delete your account and associated data — your phone number, profile, and reminders — email us at hello@worthatry.co and we will remove it. Anonymized analytics/crash data and subscription records are retained by the providers above under their own policies and as required by law.

5. Your rights and children’s privacy

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you by emailing us. You may withdraw calling/SMS consent at any time as described in Section 2. Our apps are not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/EEA), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
