Common questions

How do I sign a PDF? Open Signed, import a PDF from Files, Photos, or another app, tap where you want your signature, and place it. Add your initials, name, date, or a checkmark the same way, then tap Finish to export a signed copy.

How do I create or change my signature? In the app, draw a new signature with your finger, generate one with AI from your name, or scan/import one you already have. Save your favorite as the default so it’s ready everywhere.

Where are my documents stored? Only on your iPhone. Signed is local-first — nothing is uploaded to us. See the privacy policy.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription? Subscriptions are handled by Apple: open iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Signed. For refunds, use Apple’s Report a Problem.

I lost my documents / signatures. Because everything is stored only on your device, we can’t recover data that was deleted or lost with a device. Keep iCloud Backup enabled so your signing assets are backed up.
