Privacy Policy

Bravo Piano (“the app”) is made by Worth A Try LLC. It teaches piano on a real keyboard connected to your iPhone or iPad. This policy explains what the app keeps on your device and which services it uses.
Your playing stays on your device
The app listens to your keyboard over USB or Bluetooth MIDI: every key press arrives as a note number, never as a recording. Nothing is recorded through the microphone, and the app does not ask for microphone access. Lessons, songs, stars, streaks and practice minutes are stored in the app’s own database on your device. There is no account to create and no sign-in.
The nickname and badge you pick during setup are stored on your device only. They are never sent to us or to any service.
Pairing a Bluetooth keyboard uses Apple’s Bluetooth MIDI pairing screen, which needs Bluetooth permission. The app does not scan for other devices or use Bluetooth for anything else.
Service data
The app connects to the internet only for these services:
- Firebase Authentication: creates an anonymous identifier without asking for a name, email address or password, so purchase access and crash reports can be tied to an install rather than to a person.
- Firebase Crashlytics: receives crash and diagnostic reports, including stack traces, device and app information and installation identifiers. Crash reports never include your nickname, your playing or your progress.
- Mixpanel: receives pseudonymous usage events such as which lesson was started, whether a song was finished and which stars were earned, plus technical metadata its SDK collects, such as device and operating-system information and IP-based location. Events never include your nickname.
- RevenueCat: if and when paid plans are offered, processes purchase and entitlement information to verify access, restore purchases and provide subscription management. Apple processes payment; we never receive payment-card details.
We use this information to see where the app fails or confuses people, to improve lessons, and to provide purchase access. The app shows no ads, does not ask for advertising tracking permission, and does not collect contacts, photos or precise location. We do not sell any data.
Service providers process data on our behalf under their own terms: Firebase, RevenueCat, Mixpanel and Apple. Processing may take place outside your country.
Children and families
Bravo Piano is made for families: children learn with a parent nearby, and grown-ups learn too. The app never asks anyone for a real name, email address, phone number or photo, and the nickname stays on the device. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, for example by email, contact us and we will delete it.
Deletion and support
Settings → Erase all progress removes every star, streak and setting from the device and requests deletion of the anonymous identifier. Deleting the app removes its data too. This does not cancel an Apple subscription, and historical crash or usage records held by service providers may be retained for the periods their policies describe.
Contact support@worthatry.co for access, correction or deletion requests. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include.
Changes and contact
We will update this page and its date when our practices change. Questions: Worth A Try LLC, support@worthatry.co.
