Need help with Conduit Bending Calculator? Email support@worthatry.co with your device model, iOS version, app version and what went wrong. If a mark looks wrong, include the tool, the numbers you typed, the bender you chose and the mark you expected.

In the app, Settings is the gear at the top of the home screen. Settings → Contact support writes to us too.

How do I type a measurement?

Type the number, then its unit key. For a fraction, type the top number and tap the bottom number on the fraction row. For example, 41¾″ is 41, in, 3, /4, and 5′ 7″ is 5, ft, 7, in. A bare number is inches (millimetres when you work in metric). Marks are shown in inches, such as 41 3/4″, unless you choose feet and inches in Settings → Lengths.

Where is each mark measured from, and which bender mark goes on it?

Every mark is measured from the end of the conduit you choose, and the steps under the result say which bender mark lines up with it (the arrow, the star, the teardrop or rim notch) and which way the hook faces. For an offset, both bends are made with the hook facing the same way: after the first bend you roll the conduit 180° and keep the bender as it is. For a 3-point saddle, the centre mark goes on the teardrop or rim notch and the two outer marks on the arrow, with the hook facing the centre.

Why is a mark different from the chart on my bender?

The chart on the bender rounds its multipliers (6, 2.6, 2, 1.4, 1.2) and ignores the bend’s own radius. The app works marks out exactly by default, and the figures card under every result shows all three ways: exact, with the bender’s radius taken into account, and the trade chart. Change the default in Settings → Marks worked out by. The differences are small on 1/2″ EMT at 30° and grow with larger conduit and steeper angles.

The take-up printed on my bender is wrong. What do I do?

Printed take-ups are often off by more than a quarter inch. In Settings → Your bender, choose Calibrate from a test 90: bend one 90 at a known mark, measure the stub, and the app learns the real take-up of your bender. Every stub, back-to-back and kick then uses it.

How does the angle finder work?

Open Angle finder from the home screen, rest the phone on the straight part of the conduit and tap Zero so the bender’s own lean does not count, then set your target. As you pull the bend, the ring fills and the phone taps when you reach the angle. It uses the device’s motion sensors, so it needs a real iPhone or iPad and a steady hand; check important bends with a level.

Where are my jobs saved?

Only on this iPhone or iPad. There is no account, and jobs are not synced through iCloud or our servers, so we cannot recover them. Deleting the app deletes your jobs. Before you delete the app or switch devices, share each job you want to keep as a PDF or text and save it somewhere safe. A full backup of your device made with iCloud Backup or a computer may also include them.

How do I save and share a bend?

Tap Save on any result to put it into a job. Open Jobs from the home screen, pick the job, then tap Share and choose Share as text or Share as PDF. Nothing leaves your device unless you share it.

How do I restore a purchase?

Tap Restore purchases at the bottom of the plans screen, signed in with the Apple Account you bought with. The plans screen opens whenever Pro isn’t active: on a new device or after reinstalling, it appears at the end of the short setup. Settings → Unlock also opens the same screen.

How do I cancel or manage my subscription?

On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Conduit Bending Calculator and tap Cancel Subscription. Subscribers can also use Settings → Your purchase in the app. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge; Pro stays on until the end of the week you paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. The lifetime purchase never renews, so there is nothing to cancel. For refunds, use Apple’s Report a Problem.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Once Pro is unlocked, every tool, the angle finder, the reference tables and your jobs work offline. Buying or restoring Pro needs a connection.

How do I delete my data?

Swipe a job or a saved bend to delete it. Settings → Delete my data removes every job, saved bend and your settings from the device and deletes the app’s anonymous identifier. It does not cancel a subscription. See the privacy policy for data held by our service providers.
