These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern PDF Scanner App: Paper Capture (“App”), operated by Worth A Try LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the App you agree to these Terms.

1. What the App does

The App scans paper documents with your iPhone’s camera and turns them into PDF files. You can reorder, rotate, remove, add and rescan pages, choose a Standard or Small file size, name the PDF, and save it to Files or share it. Scanning and PDF creation run on your iPhone. See our privacy policy for the separate purchase, analytics, attribution and diagnostic services.

Scanning is automated and depends on light, focus and the paper itself. Edge detection and straightening can crop or skew a page, and the Small size lowers image quality to save space. Check every page before saving, sharing or relying on a PDF. We do not promise an exact copy of the original. The App does not recognize or edit the text in your scans.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or 16 in the EU/EEA, to use the App.

3. Purchases and subscriptions

You can scan and preview your first document before you choose. Saving, sharing and further scanning require Pro access through an active subscription or a lifetime purchase. Every plan unlocks the same features.

  • Available plans, local prices and billing periods are shown before purchase. Apple confirms the transaction and charges your Apple Account.
  • The weekly subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. The App may offer lifetime access at a discounted one-time price; its price is shown before purchase.
  • The lifetime option is a one-time, non-consumable purchase for Pro access in this App. It does not renew and does not promise perpetual compatibility with future devices or operating systems.
  • Manage or cancel a subscription through Settings → Manage subscription in the App or your Apple Account’s subscription settings. Restore purchases using the same Apple Account.
  • Deleting the App or its data does not cancel a subscription. Refund requests are handled by Apple at Report a Problem.

Purchases and restores require a connection to Apple’s and RevenueCat’s services. Scanning itself works on your iPhone.

4. Your documents and responsibilities

Only scan documents you have the right to copy. You retain ownership of your documents, and we do not receive your scans. Keep separate copies of important PDFs: the App is not a backup service, its library is left out of device backups, and we cannot recover lost scans.

5. Availability

Features and compatibility may change as the App and iOS evolve. We aim to keep the App reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every document scans well.

6. Disclaimer and liability

The App is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, or any amount exceeding what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. These Terms do not limit rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
