About us

At Worth A Try, we believe simple, well-crafted software can make daily life a little better. We’re a small team of designers and developers building focused iPhone apps — the kind you actually keep on your home screen.

Our philosophy

We don’t chase trends. We pick a real problem, solve it with the least app that does the job well, and sweat the details until only the essential remains. Every one of our apps keeps your data on your device by default — privacy isn’t a feature we bolt on, it’s where we start.

What we make

Signed turns your iPhone into a signing kit — create a signature and sign any PDF in under a minute, all on-device. ReminderCall is the reminder you can’t ignore: it calls your phone and reads your reminder out loud. PDF to Word brings document conversion to your iPhone, and PDF Scanner turns paper into clean PDFs with your camera. TV Remote (Remote Pro) controls compatible TVs over Wi-Fi, and Paused helps you take a break from distracting apps. Construction Calculator works out feet, inches and fractions, concrete, stairs and rafters, Conduit Bending Calculator lays out offsets, saddles and 90s for the bender in your hand, and Migraine Tracker keeps a migraine diary you can take to your doctor as a PDF. PDF to Word, PDF Scanner, Construction Calculator, Conduit Bending Calculator and Migraine Tracker are preparing for launch. And we give away the useful bits on the web — like our free signature generator — with no signup.

Our goal

The same as it’s always been: build software that’s genuinely worth a try.
