Need help with Migraine Tracker? Email support@worthatry.co with your device model, iOS version, app version and what went wrong. You do not need to send your diary or any health details.
In the app, Settings is the gear at the top right of the Diary tab. Settings → Contact support writes to us too, and the app version is shown at the bottom of Settings.
How do I log an attack while it is happening?
On the Diary tab, tap Start an attack. Attack mode opens on a black screen with big buttons: set the pain, tap a medicine under Took something? to log a dose, and tap It’s over when it ends. Leave it running keeps the attack open, and the Diary shows it as Attack in progress until you end it. Where it hurt, symptoms, triggers and notes can be added in the attack’s details afterwards.
How do I fix the start or end time of an attack?
Open the attack from Recent attacks on the Diary tab (See all lists every attack), or tap its day in the Calendar tab and then the attack. Under When, change Started or Ended, or turn on Still going if it has not ended. Changes are saved as you make them. An attack cannot start in the future or end before it started.
How do I add an attack I forgot to log?
Open the Calendar tab, tap the day and tap Add an attack on this day. The attack is added with placeholder times and pain; change when it started and ended, the pain and anything else you remember.
What is the daily check-in?
Once a day, the check-in on the Diary tab asks how today went, with three answers: Headache-free; A headache, not a migraine; or A migraine. Choosing A migraine adds an attack for today and opens it so you can set its times. Headache-free days count too: they make your counts complete. To be reminded, turn on Settings → Reminders → Daily check-in.
How do I make a report for my doctor?
Open the Report tab, choose the date range and tap the preview to read every page. Then tap Save to Files, or Share or print. If you add your next appointment in Settings → Your doctor, the app reminds you the evening before, as long as notifications are allowed. The report shows what you recorded; it is not a diagnosis.
Can I export my diary?
Yes. Settings → Export my data makes a spreadsheet (CSV file) of every attack and check-in, which you can save to Files or send. It is a copy for you and your doctor; the app cannot import it back.
Is my diary backed up? What about a new iPhone?
Your diary is stored only on your iPhone or iPad, not on our servers, and it does not sync between devices. It is included in your device’s iCloud Backup or computer backup when backups are turned on. To move it to a new device, restore that device from a backup of the old one that was made after your latest entries. We cannot recover a diary for you, so keep backups on, and export a copy before you erase or replace a device.
How do I add or change my medicines?
Go to Settings → Medications and tap + to add one, or tap a medicine to change its name, type or usual dose. Archive a medicine you no longer take: it leaves the one-tap buttons but stays on past attacks and reports.
Is Migraine Tracker medical advice?
No. The app records what you enter and counts it. It does not diagnose, predict attacks or recommend treatment. Talk to your doctor about your headaches and your medicines.
How do I restore a purchase?
Use Settings → Restore purchases, or Restore purchases on the plans screen, signed in with the Apple Account you bought with. After reinstalling or on a new device, finish the first-run setup; if the plans screen appears, tap Restore purchases there.
How do I cancel or manage my subscription?
On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Migraine Tracker and tap Cancel Subscription. You can also use Settings → Manage subscription in the app. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. The lifetime purchase never renews, so there is nothing to cancel. For refunds, use Apple’s Report a Problem.
Does it work without internet?
Your diary is on your device, so logging, reports and export do not need a connection once the app is unlocked. Buying or restoring a purchase needs one.
How do I delete my data?
To remove one attack, open it and tap Delete this attack. Settings → Delete account deletes your whole diary from this device and resets the app’s anonymous account. It cannot be undone and it does not cancel a subscription; export a copy first if you want to keep one. Report PDFs the app has already made can stay in its storage until you delete the app. See the privacy policy for data held by our service providers.
