How do I scan a document?

Tap New scan and hold your iPhone over the page. The scanner finds the edges and captures each page; keep going for more pages, then tap Save. Check the pages, tap Continue, choose a name and a file size, then tap Save to Files or Share.

The camera won’t open. What can I do?

The app needs camera access to scan. If you turned it off, tap Open Settings in the app, or go to iOS Settings → PDF Scanner and turn on Camera. Until then, you can try the built-in sample document. If the document camera isn’t available on your device, the app says so and offers the sample instead.

How do I fix page order, rotation or a bad page?

On the review screen, tap Reorder and drag pages into place. Tap a page to rotate it, move it earlier or later, rescan it or remove it. Add pages scans more pages onto the end.

What is the difference between Standard and Small?

Standard keeps the most detail. Small makes a lighter file for email and upload limits, with lower image quality. The app shows the real file size of each before you save or share.

Do my documents leave my phone?

Scanning, page edits and PDF making all happen on your iPhone, and the app does not upload your scans. PDFs you save or share go to your chosen destination; iCloud Drive and other file providers may store them in their cloud. Purchases, analytics, install attribution and crash reporting use separate online services, as explained in our privacy policy.

The app closed while I was scanning. Are my pages lost?

Pages are saved as soon as you tap Save in the scanner. If the app closes after that, the scan waits under Unfinished scans on the home screen the next time you open it. Pages still in the scanner when it closes are not saved.

What does Pro include?

Your first scan is free to make and preview. The weekly and lifetime plans both unlock saving, sharing and further scanning. The paywall and Apple’s purchase confirmation show the current local price.

How do I restore or manage a purchase?

Use Settings → Restore purchases with the Apple Account used for the original purchase. Subscribers can open Settings → Manage subscription. You can also manage subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. For refunds, use Apple’s Report a Problem.

How do I delete my scans?

Press and hold a PDF on the home screen and choose Delete. Settings → Delete account removes every scan and PDF in the app and requests deletion of the anonymous account. This does not cancel a subscription. See the privacy policy for service-data deletion requests.
